Holiday Trails RV Resorts

Kevin and Donna Demers started with a small goal: running a small RV park to supplement Kevin's work as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. But once their idea took root, it grew into something beyond what the Demers had imagined. The humble park rapidly grew in popularity, prompting Kevin to retire from the RCMP to manage the grounds and sell memberships. As time went on, the Demers expanded Holiday Trails RV Resorts into a membership-based camping network with resorts in Alberta, British Columbia, and Washington, as well as more than 600 affiliate campgrounds throughout North America.

Today, nearly 30 years after founding their first RV resort, the Demers satisfy travellers' wanderlust while keeping pace with the advances in RV design. Beyond full- and partial-hookup RV sites and cabins, resorts entice guests with heated pools, clubhouses, and restaurants. Each resort's location also affords plentiful recreation, ranging from skiing and snowboarding to canoeing and couch-potatoing. For frequent travellers, memberships replace nightly camping costs with a single annual fee. The Demers also post members' travel stories on Holiday Trail's Living the Dream forum.
