It didn't come as a surprise the staff at the hotel, though. “We win ‘Best of’ awards every year,” says Lakeside Inn and Casino staffer Chris Garton. “We even won Best Valet Parking, but we don’t have valet parking.” The parking area is actually adjacent to the resort’s rooms, which makes it convenient to park and then hike the nearby Lam Watah Trail which leads to Nevada Beach on Lake Tahoe.
