Questions and Answers

I purchased this before I realized it was only good till May. My vacation time is in July. I did call the hotel before I purchased to see if they had rooms in July they said yes. I told them I was using the groupon they did not mention it expired in May. Can I get a refund for my purchase?

Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear about the misunderstanding in purchasing the Groupon. Any requests for refund would need to be directed to Groupon. Thank you.

Hi, i got a gift of a two nights deal for this. But, i dont have credit card. I wonder if i can use my debit card in the check in? Please keep me inform about this one because I plan to use this gift in this month. Otherwise, i have to pass it to other people :-) Thank you

tetsu asked 1 year, 3 months, 18 days, 1 hour, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jared T.

I'm glad you were able to get this deal as a gift! You can use your debit card upon check in. That won't be a problem at all.

I just tried to make a reservation, but no more "groupons" were available.... I saw another post stating the same thing.... is this a bait em and switch deal? If this deal is still being advertised with 3 more days + 19 hours, it seems to me that it should be honored. The guy at the reservation desk said I could call back and speak to the manager tomorrow. What the???? Really? Chasing this down is not worth it. So much for the "terrific deal" . Boo hiss. Won't waste my time with groupons anymore.... what a rip off.!

Jared T.

Hi Laura. I appreciate that you took the time to look through the previous questions posted here. As you saw in my response to another question, this is not a bait and switch as you stated. As I replied to that question, we will absolutely honor any and all groupons purchased as is. You are not required to purchase anything else to redeem your groupon. Please contact Magen Lewis directly to book your reservation at the 800 number listed. You may also call locally at 541-743-1000. Please let me know if you have further questions or if I have been unclear. Thank you.

I just called to make a reservation, and was told you can not upgrade the groupon and to get another room I would have to book through the hotel and pay full price.

Christine D. asked 1 year, 3 months, 18 days, 17 hours, and 33 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jared T.

Christine, my apologies for the confusion. i will speak to the reservations office today and ensure everyone has the correct information. The Groupon can be used for the room, and just pay the upgrade fee, typically $10 or $30 depending on the upgrade. You can contact Magen Lewis directly to book your room, and she will make sure it is taken care of. She can be reached at 1-800-543-8266 or you can e-mail her at mlewis@valleyriverinn.com.

"According to the fine print of the deal, 1 voucher may be purchased for use, and 1 may be purchased as a gift. Any multiple voucher redemptions would be treated as separate reservations. " What does your answer above mean exactly ? I need a 3 night stay so I call your hotel and reserve the 2 night with one coupon and then make a separate 1 night reservation with the 1night stay coupon? Is that what you mean by making separate reservations for a 3 night stay? Allegiant Air's schedule necessitates a 3 night stay by the way. Thanks.

Dee H. asked 1 year, 3 months, 20 days, 10 hours, and 24 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jared T.

That would be the way it was redeemed, yes.

Willie T. asked 1 year, 3 months, 20 days, 16 hours, and 45 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jared T.

The reservation must be completed by May 30, 2012.

Jared T. answered 1 year, 3 months, 20 days, 16 hours, and 44 minutes ago

Just called hotel to check on availability prior to purchasing groupon. I was told there are rooms available for checking in May 11 for a 2 night stay. However, there are no more "groupon" rooms available. There was no offer to purchase a groupon and pay upgrade. What gives?

Cathy asked 1 year, 3 months, 21 days, 3 hours, and 46 minutes ago - 2 answers

Jared T.

My apologies for the hassle! I will speak with reservations today to ensure that doesn't happen again in the future. You can always use a Groupon as the basis for the room and simply pay the upgrade fee depending on the upgrade desired. Our reservations office can take care of that for you. They can be reached at 1-800-543-8266 or you can e-mail Magen Lewis at mlewis1@valleyriverinn.com.

This is my first time try to use groupoun. What is that mean $129 for a one-night stay and $199 for a two-night stay? The groupoun is $119 for one night. I can purchase one for myself and one for gift. Can I use mine to book the first night and my friend use the gift groupoun book for the second night?

Michelle C. asked 1 year, 3 months, 21 days, 9 hours, and 32 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jared T.

The listing for $129 is incorrect. The deal is $119 for the one-night stay. You can use yours for the first night and your friend's for the second night. Or, you can just purchase the $199 deal for two nights and save a little money.
