. After reading other reviews I was a little Leary of staying there, however I found the front desk staff very friendly. For an older hotel, it has been updated nicely. I found the breakfast typical of most and really no complaints there. Our king jacuzzi room was comfortable. However, the strange, funky smell in the hallways and staircases mentioned in other reviews did exist so going to and from breakfast wasn't pleasant. Also, the lock at the side door ( which was suppose to require a room key for entry) was broken and thus unlocked all night. For the Groupon price, I felt this was an adequately appointed hotel but would have been disappointed had I paid full price.
