Days 1–2: Arches National Park
The tour begins with a shuttle transfer from the Radisson Salt Lake City Airport Hotel to Moab, located about 3 hours and 45 minutes away. Upon arrival, you'll venture into Arches National Park, home to more than 2,000 natural stone arches, including the famous Delicate Arch.
On the first day, you'll hike the narrow canyons of the Fiery Furnace (if permits are available), then foray into the Windows section of the park to hike to Double Arch. The second day begins with a memorable sunrise hike to Delicate Arch before trips to Landscape Arch and Devil's Garden, with a break for lunch on the trail.
Day 3: Canyonlands National Park
Next, the tour moves on to Canyonlands National Park, a huge conglomeration of canyons, mesas, and buttes once described by naturalist Edward Abbey as "the most weird, wonderful, magical place on earth—there is nothing else like it anywhere." You'll explore the park's popular Island in the Sky district, a towering mesa with sweeping views from the White Rim sandstone bench. A hike to Mesa Arch promises rewarding photo opportunities.
Day 4: Outdoor Adventure
You can take advantage of all that Moab has to offer on Day 4, when each tour-taker will pick from a list of outdoor adventures. Scurry up rock climbing trails, cruise through the desert on an ATV or Jeep, go rafting on the Colorado River, or discover why Moab is considered one of the world's foremost mountain biking destinations. Each tour returns to Canyonlands just in time for sunset.
Day 5: Optional Hike and Return to Salt Lake City
An optional hike to Moab's Morning Glory Bridge precedes the return trip to SLC.
