Questions and Answers

The details say must be booked by 1/25/13, but used by 4/ 30/13. Is this correct? (I'd like to make the booking after the holidays).

Karen G. asked 5 months, 23 days, 13 hours, and 11 minutes ago - 1 answer

Collin T.

Hi Karen, All that means is that you have to call before 1/25/13 to book your stay. In other words, you can call us as late as 1/24/13 for a stay anytime between now and 4/30/13. (Though calling in January '13 for a stay in November '12 wouldn't really work, I suppose.) Thanks for the question!

Hi! Could we use the $25 spa credit for the pool fee?

Jeanne H. asked 5 months, 23 days, 14 hours, and 15 minutes ago - 1 answer

Collin T.

Hi Jeanne, No need-- there is no 'pool fee'. All of our guests are invited to enjoy the indoor pool and fitness center at no charge. I think what you're referring to is the $25 Spa fee (to use the saunas, steam rooms, lounges, etc.), but you only need to pay that if you're NOT getting a Spa or Salon service. Anyone who gets a Spa or Salon service gets Spa access free, too. (No $25 fee.) Regardless, either way, the pool and fitness center are always free for everyone. Thanks for the question.

So the weekend deal is for check in from Thursday through Sunday and the weekday deal is for check in Sunday through Thursday. I just want to clarify - if I wanted to stay a Friday through Monday - I could use the 2 night weekend deal for Friday and Saturday night and then use two one night deals for Sunday night and Monday, correct?

sarah m. asked 5 months, 23 days, 13 hours, and 31 minutes ago - 1 answer

Collin T.

Hi Sarah, Yes-- that is correct. You got it.

second question: it the $15 resort fee per person or per family?

Jeanne H. asked 5 months, 23 days, 14 hours, and 14 minutes ago - 1 answer

Collin T.

Hi Jeanne, it is a flat fee per day, so per family. Not per person.

How much are the spa Treatments? Can we go snowmobiling and cross country skiing at the resort?

Laurie K. asked 5 months, 24 days, 10 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

Collin T.

Hi Laurie, Our Spa & Salon treatments range in price. I invite you to visit our website, where you can view the entire Spa menu (http://www.vtculinaryresort.com/spa-at-the-essex/). While we do not offer onsite skiing or snowmobiling, both are available nearby. We do offer snowshoeing onsite, and our neighbors Northern Lights Rock & Ice offer ice climbing, tubing, and skating.

Do you allow dog?

Christina C. asked 5 months, 25 days, 4 hours, and 43 minutes ago - 1 answer

Collin T.

Hi Christina, Yes we allow (and welcome!) dogs. We just ask that you mention that you have a pet when you call to make your reservation. And there is a $25/night surcharge for all pets. Thanks for the question!

Hi, I noticed that there are no blackout dates? Are we able to use the deal for 12/30-1/1?

Lisa T. asked 5 months, 25 days, 8 hours, and 22 minutes ago - 1 answer

Amy S.

There are no blackout dates listed for this deal. Please contact the business directly to check for the most up to date availability. They can be reached at (800) 727-4295.

Amy S. answered 5 months, 25 days, 7 hours, and 21 minutes ago

If you are staying 2 nights, do you get 2 dinner credits? Or is it just 1 credit for 1 booking. Thanks!

Crystal Q. asked 5 months, 26 days, 8 hours, and 32 minutes ago - 4 answers

Amy S.

Each option comes with one $25 credit toward dinner at Amuse and one $25 credit toward a cooking class (at least two hours) or spa treatment (at least 50 minutes).

Amy S. answered 5 months, 26 days, 8 hours, and 25 minutes ago

Collin T.

Hi Crystal, If you choose the two night (weekend option), you get 1 dinner credit and 1 spa/cooking class credit. If you are buying two of the 1-night packages (for a midweek stay), then you get 2 dinner credits and 2 spa/cooking class credits. Essentially you get 1 of each credit PER PACKAGE you buy. Good question!

Collin T. answered 5 months, 26 days, 8 hours, and 16 minutes ago

To clarify, is it possible to buy two one-night mid-week deals and use them on consecutive nights?

Alison S. answered 5 months, 26 days, 3 hours, and 11 minutes ago

Collin T.

Alison-- Absolutely. You may buy consecutive packages-- several one-nights or even a couple one-nights and a two-night.
