Located in downtown Ypsilanti, The Queen’s Residence Bed and Breakfast is a 5,500-square-foot Classical Revival–style manor that was built in 1870. The inn’s three secluded guest rooms feature period decor, including patterned wallpaper and antique trinkets.

In the morning, owners Joe and Marla Queen prepare a complimentary breakfast served on the veranda, in the courtyard, or inside one of the cozy dining rooms. Come nightfall, guests can retire to the ladies’ or gentlemen’s parlor, or relax in the outdoor hot tub. The cozy library offers a peaceful perch to read. Ypsilanti is just 10 miles from the University of Michigan and less than 2 miles from Eastern Michigan University, making it an ideal base for out-of-towners.
