Hi Nicole... you can see virtual tours of all the cabins on our site. The smaller cabins have kitchenettes with the essentials... hot plate, microwave, sm fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc. and they have a nice full shared bathroom :-) The big cabin has the works... it's almost 1,500 ft2 and has all the comforts of home.

Do you offer combined deals for a stay of four nights? Is the offer good for all days of the week or just week days or weekend days?

Donna- The Adirondack and Leopold's cabin would both be suitable for a family of 4. The vouchers are for 2 people or 4 people depending on which one you purchase. Each additional person is just $20/nt. We look forward to hosting your family adventure :-)

Hi, can you snowmobile directly from the cabin to the trails or would we have to trailer them to a parking lot and then ride. Also, does your parking area have a enough room for a trailer to be parked during our stay?

Nathan- we have a large parking area for trailers and trucks. You can get on the main trail by going through our fields and then going onto the road for about 1/4 mile or you can park by the main trail... either way the trails are close. " This (especially this description of your founder) made this seem ideal for my needs .... till I saw the picture with the snowmobile, and your post encouraging a guest to enjoy them. These are anathama to mediation and restoration...so so disappointing....

Hi Alan... thanks for your note. Although we don't encourage snowmobiling, it is an active part of upstate ny winter. Less than 1% of our clients are snowmobile enthusiasts. Most (99%) are you like you and enjoy the serenity of winter as opposed to the speed of it ;-)

Is the grill near the cabin or you have to walk somewhere? sorry to bother, just trying to complete the picture for myself. Can we bring our own grill to put outside of the cabin in case you need to walk far away for the public grill you are talking about?

wifi works well in thoreau's and leopold's cabin and verizon cell is excellent around the entire property :-)
