There is a display case with candy bars, chocolate bars, game-related candy, even beef jerky! They have you general sodas, bottled water, game-related energy drinks, etc. The only thing they sell warm/hot is pizza (12" or personal pan pizza).

Is there a minimum age requirement for the passes? My husband and I will be bringing our 3 year old who probably would just play around with us on the games.

No, adults do not have to purchase a day pass if they aren't playing. However, they monitor the floor and if you are caught playing the customer will be asked to pay or leave. They inform the customers of this right away upon entry.
