Celebrate uber-creative self-decoration with today’s side deal: for $10, you get $20 worth of merchandise from San Francisco-based GAMA-GO. Shipping costs are a flat rate of $5; orders of $50 or more ship for free. This Groupon can be redeemed starting July 31.

Launched by apparel industry entrepreneurs who were kidnapped by a yeti, GAMA-GO purveys a mad menage of brain-teasing and grin-inducing clothes, accessories, and decorative supplies—many of which feature GAMA-GO's stable of home-grown cartoon characters, such as the angry-looking Deathbot, deadly cute Ninja Kitty, and ubiquitous Yeti. Wear your love for early Nintendo games on your sleeve with the Duck Hunter tee ($28)—a shirt that features Deathbot clutching a presumably lifeless 8-bit duck—and your love of moustaches on your finger with a fingerstache temporary tattoo ($5). The flipper guitar spatula ($12) allows for a finely tuned flapjack flipping, a shredding scrambled egg solo, or a virtually painless tortilla beating. Office supplies like the Yeti Kong floati pen ($5) will keep office drones entertained during dull performance reviews. And an illegal-leaf-shaped pot holder ($8) will keep your home's hot pot from burning your thumb until you’ve cashed its cooking. Celebrate your GAMA-Go purchases with a gulp from a squid wreck pint glass ($12).

Originally launched as a basement t-shirt business, GAMA-GO has evolved into a whole new retail monster in the minds of its creative founders, even enjoying a feature on The Today Show. Although products change from season to season and eventually disappear completely, GAMA-GO's eccentricities of design remain eternal. Add a little pep to the things you wear, the things you accessorize your house with, and the things you accessorize while wearing your house with today’s Groupon.

Reviews

GAMA-GO has been featured by The Today Show, as well as the San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco Bay Guardian. Yelpers give GAMA-GO's flagship San Francisco store an average of 4.5 stars.

  • Using its most popular characters -- the Yeti; the Ninja Kitty, a subversive version of the ubiquitous Hello Kitty character; the sinister skull- headed Deathbot; and mischievous TigerLily -- Gama-Go designs limited batches of clothing and accessories, from T-shirts to wallets, serigraph prints, toys and gifts. When the run is sold, the company moves on to another design. – Annie Nakao, San Francisco Chronicle
  • The quality is great, the images are awesome, and it is all limited and new every season. What more could you ask for? – Seasons K., Yelp
