GastroMarket offers four styles of pizzattas, or gourmet pizzas, which are made with fresh-baked ciabatta and topped with such ingredients as eggplant, bocconcini, goat cheese, fig preserves, and Byzantium-style cured beef. Cask wine flights come with three locally made, sulfate-free wines crafted without the use of filters, preservatives, or pressurized gas.

GastroMarket

At GastroMarket, barrels are more than just an authentic touch to the décor. They play a crucial part in holding each batch of world-class and local cask-made wine and conditioned ale. Whether served by the glass or in a flight, each cask wine is free of preservatives and sulfates, and poured straight from the barrel. The preservative-free brews are matured in casks before the unfiltered liquids—only made from traditional ingredients such as hops—are served room at 55 degrees. To complement the authentic libations, which also include cocktails made with house-infused bacon vodka and craft beers on tap, chefs handcraft artisan sandwiches stuffed with cast-iron grilled skirt steak and slow-cooked beef brisket. Diners can also dig into entrees of pasta, spicy tacos, and gourmet ciabatta bread pizzas.

Brass and wood elements lend the spacious restaurant a modern yet rustic backdrop. Wooden stools await warming at a wood-planked bar, while the outdoor patio—enclosed by sky-high brick walls—welcomes diners to take a seat on wrought-iron furnishings. Next door, a public park known as the High Line, which was built on an elevated freight rail line, welcomes anyone looking for a scenic after-dinner stroll.
