After a classroom portion, students head to the range to practice shooting skills with a complimentary rental gun and ammunition. The eight-hour session also includes breaks, and if three or more guests are present, it includes a free lunch. At the end of the class, students receive a certificate of completion, which is required as part of the Michigan concealed-pistol-license application.
