At Getchasome Charters, U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain Jimmy Wickett guides anglers throughout the fish-laden waters of southern Florida with a host of local knowledge acquired from more than 18 years of teaching the catch and release. With captain Jimmy's custom-built Star Rods and Shimano spin- and bait-casting tackle, guests learn how to master winning stuffed animals in crane games and properly outsmarting schools of sailfish, tarpon, snook, mahi, and snapper. Anglers are advised to wear seasonal clothing with soft-soled shoes and bring snacks and drinks in addition to sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and cameras. The captain provides protective gear in the event of light rain or Poseidon trident pokes and works to ensure customer safety should hazardous conditions arise.
