During Flying Yoga, guests perform a series of classic yoga poses with a twist. Students perform each asana in a controlled dangle while intertwined in aerial silks. The acrobatic maneuvers, carried out a safe 1–2 feet above the floor, build core muscles, flexibility, and balance.

For a more traditional workout, the studio hosts corpus-crafting BodyPump, martial-arts-inspired BodyCombat, and dance-infused Zumba. Check the schedule for upcoming class days and times.

G-Force Fitness

The low-hanging swathes of fabric that dangle from the rafters at G-Force Fitness aren’t for decoration. Instead, they serve as a sort of spotter for participants in Flying Yoga classes, supporting arms, legs, and bodies to allow for deeper, more strengthening stretches. They’re just one example of the way G-Force strives to shake up traditional fitness routines, making good on their philosophy that working out can be both functional and fun. Energizing beats invigorate students in weightlifting, lengthening, and aerobic workouts such as BodyPump, BodyFlow, and BodyJam, while BodyCombat classes choreograph martial-arts and kickboxing moves to Oscar De La Hoya’s greatest hits. The gym also offers TRX workouts and personal-training sessions and recently added massage services to help soothe muscles post-workout.

The Groupon Guide to: Being Too Big for Your Britches

No one likes people who are boastful—especially if they can’t back it up with substance. Consult this helpful guide to find out if you are too big for your britches:

  • Does your mouth write checks your butt can’t cash?
  • Is the volume of your bark disproportionate to the incapacitating power of your bite?
  • Do people condescendingly affix “mister” to the front of your name?
  • Are you all bluster and no muster?
  • Has anyone ever held you in place by affixing their palm against the top of your head while their abdomen stayed just out of reach of your windmilling fists?
  • Do you have to constantly pull up your trousers because they’re all that’s left of your father, a husky fighter pilot whose last words to you were “I have to go away for a while, champ”?

How can you tell if you’re too big for your britches? This guide can help you out.
