I understand the arm rests are attached to the main piece, but are they sewn on or attached with elastic or what? I'd like to use it on my sectional so I'd need the arm rests separate and could just cut them off if they are not sewn on. Thanks for such fast responses!

Is your sofa cover 9.25 feet wide without the arm rests? The sitting area of my sofa is only 5.3 feet wide. If I bought it, would I have to have it cut shorter? Please advise.

Are the sides fitted? I would use it on the bench seat in my car but the seat is constructed so I can't tuck it in so if the sides were elasticized it might fit better.
