About Babee Covee
On a wet, windy day, Alma, president and founder of the company behind Babee Covee, struggled to get inside a friend’s home, carrying her 2-year-old in one arm and her infant in the other, shielded by a blanket in the car seat carrier. But a gust of wind blew the blanket off the carrier and onto the muddy ground. Exasperated, Alma got inside fast as she could with her kids, leaving the blanket out in the pouring rain.
That soggy experience identified a problem that she wanted to solve, and soon, she had created the Babee Covee. It stays put on car carriers in inclement weather, and it also serves five other uses: nursing cover, shopping-cart cover, high-chair cover, stroller blanket and cover, and playtime blanket. The Babee Covee Budee, its smaller counterpart, works as a security blanket, holder for pacifiers and toys, burp cloth, and tag-along on strollers and high chairs.
Since Alma first started selling the Baby Covee just a few years ago, it’s been featured on Good Morning America, praised by countless mommy bloggers, and featured as a Top Nursing Cover on The Bump.
