Is the duvet machine washable or dry clean only.

PAOLA A. asked 3 months, 15 days, 14 hours, and 41 minutes ago - 1 answer

Hi, We strongly recommend having this product professionally washed or dry cleaned. Some people do wash their own duvets at home, but it is very difficult and you risk irreparably damaging the product if not done completely right. This would also void the warranty. Thanks, Shawn Customer Service

Hi There, I have a silly question, is this comforter noisy when you move at night. I read that it is cotton. I had to return a comforter I purchased last month, as everytime i turned around in bed the fabric was very noisy. Sorry it bothered me. I am used to my satin one that does not make any noise, but its old and I would like to change it. Please advise....thanks

Adele asked 3 months, 17 days, 7 hours, and 41 minutes ago - 1 answer

Canadian Down & Feather Company

Hi Adele, The shell does tend to make a slight rustling sound on this duvet as a result of the crisp tight weave of the fabric. This particular fabric is highly durable and and ensures the feather do not come out. Overtime, the sounds reduce as the fabric softens up with use. Thanks, Shawn Customer Service

Can you tell me where the feathers come from, are they meat birds? Thank you

Samantha G. asked 3 months, 17 days, 12 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

Canadian Down & Feather Company

Hi Samantha, Most of the feathers for this particular product would probably be a by product of of the food industry. There is no live plucking or any inhumane treatment of the birds. Thanks, Shawn Customer Service

Jennifer L. asked 3 months, 17 days, 14 hours, and 59 minutes ago - 1 answer

Canadian Down & Feather Company

Hi Jennifer, This duvet can probably be washed in a large washing machine at home, but we strongly recommend having it professionally washed or dry cleaned. Thanks, Shawn Customer Service

Yana M. asked 3 months, 17 days, 16 hours, and 50 minutes ago - 1 answer

Hi Yana, We source feathers from around the world for our different products and the fill can sometimes change depending on what is available at what time. In this particular case, we believe most of the feathers for this particular product would be from China. Thanks, Shawn Customer Service

The Baffle Box construction... does it have a wall? or does the sewing go through the duvet to the other side?

Anita R. asked 3 months, 17 days, 17 hours, and 6 minutes ago - 1 answer

Canadian Down & Feather Company

Hi Anita, Thanks for your questions. This duvet does in fact have a wall (baffle) between the top and bottom layers of the shell to create a three-dimensional box. The duvet is not just sewn through. The baffle or wall allows the duvet to trap more air keeping you warmer. I hope this helps. Shawn Customer Service
