Hi Ron! Sorry for the confusion. Garmin nüLink! services is a different service which includes along with traffic, gas prices, movie times, flight statuses, local search etc. This device only offers traffic updates and route avoidance.

Hi Glenn! Yes, you can purchase additional maps for this unit. North America maps are pre-loaded in the unit and can't be erased. Europe maps can be loaded into the unit via a microSD card.
