Cycles Gladiator Red Wine
It was 1895, the height of the golden age of bicycling, and French company Gladiator was about to release a new model of bicycle. To celebrate its arrival, artist G. Massias painted an advertising poster that depicted a nude woman flying into the sky upon a winged bicycle, her hair whipping toward to the twilight. This same image now graces the bottles of Cycles Gladiator, a wine collection that strives to capture the same spirit of freedom felt by those Parisian cyclists. The collection offers two combinations of three red wines—a muscular, award-wining cabernet sauvignon; a multifaceted merlot; and a pinot noir with a finish as smooth and painstakingly produced as a love note written in MLA format.
