I have a fairly new Samsung Smart TV which I listen to Pandora on frequently. I'd like to have more volume than just the regular TV for Pandora. Will this work for that. Is it really just a simple HDMI hook up? The "product specifications" that you provide above does not answer this question, or at least I'm not seeing that it does. Thank You.

Yes - this product has two HDMI hook ups as well as an optical audio input, and a minijack input.

Do the sound bar and the subwoofer automatically switch themselves off when there is no audio input (ie, for more then 10 seconds) and then switch themselves back on when the audio input becomes active again? Please do not respond "Please see product specifications listed here", because the specs do not provide this detail.

No, the subwoofer does not automatically switch off when there is no audio input.

I would think it would work with any TV (or any other device, for that matter) that has an HDMI or an audio output jack, but if the audio signal coming across the HDMI interface is Dolby Digital or DTS, you may have issues - see other Q&A.
