Questions and Answers

Does this replace flossing manually.

Deanna M. asked 5 months, 28 days, 6 hours, and 12 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

The hydroflosser works much in the same way manual flossing does, but it provides the added benefit of a pressurized water stream to hit hard-to-reach areas.

Can warm/hot water be used? Does it have a way to warm the water? I have a sensitivity to cold water. Thanks! Do you still floss the regular way?

Ronna P. asked 5 months, 28 days, 13 hours, and 20 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

The unit does not warm water. You may add warm/hot water to the unit to use while flossing.

How long before it needs to be recharged?

Patricia M. asked 5 months, 28 days, 21 hours, and 11 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

It is recommended to charge your unit after every use.

Annette B. answered 5 months, 28 days, 4 hours, and 20 minutes ago

Why is there a small water resevoir? what purpose does that serve? How do you charge the portable looking thing; and how do you fill it with water. How much water can you fill it with at a time(to allow one whole mouth fill) thank you, geri

Geri m. asked 5 months, 29 days, and 9 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

The water reservoir is where the water is stored within the unit. This unit charges with an AC adapter. You fill the unit with water by lifting the lid of the water reservoir and pouring water in it. The reservoir holds enough water for 1-2 flossing sessions.

My dentist has always given me a hard time about flossing. What I'm wondering if how effective is this - does the head actually go in-between your gum and tooth or does it just spurt from outside the area?

Lindsay G. asked 5 months, 29 days, 19 hours, and 36 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

The water spurts in-between the teeth, not the actual head of the device. Sorry for the confusion.

Annette B. answered 5 months, 29 days, 4 hours, and 7 minutes ago

Do you take paypal?

Delia T. asked 5 months, 29 days, 21 hours, and 15 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

Sorry, Groupon does not take PayPal.

Annette B. answered 5 months, 29 days, 21 hours, and 13 minutes ago

I don't understand how this works. What about the actual floss? How does that get refilled? Do you have to buy new heads? How often? From where? How much are they? Is this essentially like a Sonicare, but for flossing?

Adam F. asked 6 months, 1 hour, and 14 minutes ago - 1 answer

Annette B.

This is a water flosser - pressure from the water cleans between the teeth. You fill the water flosser with water that stores in the unit. New heads are available for purchase through the manufacturer directly if needed.
