Will it work well with dog's hair?

Kay L. asked 6 months, 12 days, 17 hours, and 52 minutes ago - 1 answer

Patrick S.

Hi Kay! The 581 is an upgrade from the 560 and is very effective at picking up animal hair, long and short, from hardwood and carpet. You will want to clean out the hopper every two days depending on how often the Roomba is used and how dirty the floors are.

Sorry..one more question..how long does it take to clean a room..or, a 1000 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath apt?)

Michelle H. asked 6 months, 12 days, 3 hours, and 3 minutes ago - 1 answer

Patrick S.

Hi Michelle! An apartment that size would take a couple hours. However, it all depends on the layout and if your Roomba has to learn the floorplan (1st time cleaning) or if it’s familiar with the surroundings.

Patrick S. answered 6 months, 11 days, 17 hours, and 7 minutes ago

Since this has brushes won't it scratch hardwood floors? You are not supposed to use brushes on hardwood. Thank you, Lee
