HI Jennifer! The Ultraplush lined glove is warmer than the fleece because it creates more air space with its hair like appearance. Its probably about 20% warmer as it traps air between the hand and shell which helps insulate the hand. This is similar to the pink fiberglass insulation in home walls. When it expands it creates air pockets which helps retain the heat.

In relation to the question above about separate sizes and colors... will you ship them all together? Also, is the fleece real lambs fleece or is it poly fleece like what is now used in products like "Snuggies"?

What is the difference between fleece and ultra plush lining of these gloves? Do these make a difference in cold exposure protection? Can you rate them as to cold weather like coats are rated, i.e., to -10 degrees below zero, etc.?

Hi Jan! What keeps hands warm is good blood flow at 98.6 degrees through the fingers. Some people can be sitting in a 72 degree room and have cold hands. The SmarTouch gloves offer good wind proof protection and moderate warmth. These are not good in below zero conditions. They are very good protection in 20 to 40 degree days.
