DENISE P. asked 8 months, 9 days, 2 hours, and 56 minutes ago - 2 answers

Hi Denise
Accuracy
Pressure: +/- 3 mmHG or +/-2%, whichever is greater. Pulse: +/-5%
Blood pressure measurements determined with this device are equivalent to those obtained by a trained observer using the cuff/stethoscope auscultation method within the limits prescribed by the American National Mediums Institute (ANSI/AAMI SP10) for electronic sphygmomanometers. Thanks!

The key to an accurate measurement is the user's ability to remain very still while the monitor is taking the measurement. Also, it's very important that the monitor be worn properly on the wrist, as shown in the picture...and not worn like a wrist watch. A log book, to record and track your readings, as well as a user manual with complete instructions is included.

The key to an accurate measurement is the user's ability to remain very still, as the monitor is inflating and measuring, as they are very sensitive to movement and vibration. It would not be advisable to use the wrist monitor while walking or in an automobile, for example.
