I apologize for the confusion! SInce these sheets are microfiber they do not have a thread count. However, these are luxurious and very soft sheets.

Why are the fitted sheet measurements for the California King narrower that the regular King fitted measurement? The only difference between a regular King and a Cali King is the length.. Is this a typo on your part?

The California King fitted sheet measures 72" x 84". The California King mattress size is also 72" x 84".

I have a tempurpedic mattress and I measured the height of the mattress; it is 11 inches so does that mean it is 22 inches total and therefore these sheets wouldn't fit? I don't really understand the concept of the 16 inch?

Are they 100% polyester? I've read that polyester sheets are stiffer, is that so? Also, do they snag or get little balls of material after washing?
