This required the use of subscription-based Cloud service, (NeatCloud), which also includes the usage of mobile applications, which enables you to view and/or acquire documents. Images can be saved in JPEG, PDF, and other popular formats.
All documents can be exported out of the Neat Software and used in other applications. Scanner can also scan directly to PDF, bypassing the Neat software.

Both NeatDesk and NeatReceipts come with the same software applications. The NeatReceipts is a USB-powered portable scanner. Scans single sided, one page at a time, 4 pages per minute. The NeatDesk is a high-speed ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) that can accommodate all document types at the same time. If have a 50 page capacity, scans both sides at the same time (duplex), 25 pages per minute. The net difference is portability verse utility.

Hello, Can the items that are scanned in and stored then be sorted by my naming a file and everything scanned in the future that seems similar goes in that file? Does the business card scan make a contacts list and can that list be merged with other address books like the one on my mac? Can the information scanned be stored onto a portable hard drive? Does the software work with a mac? How many different categories for storage are there? Thanks!

a) You have the ability to create and name your own files. You have the option to scan to an "inbox" or select a target folder that you created. The software will not automatically know the desired folders. You have to preselect or drag and drop after you scanned. Yes, Neat does have a contact database within the software. The contacts can automatically sync with MS Outlook (PC Version) or Mac Address Book (MAC). You can also export in .VCF and/or .CSV file formats to import into other applications.
Yes, you can back up our Neat Database on or portable hard drive.
Yes, you need to purchase NeatReceipts for MAC or NeatDesk for MAC.
There are no set limitations on the files you can create.
