What is the difference between this Norton anti-virus for PC's and Norton 360 that I currently use?

Lori S. asked 3 months, 22 days, and 30 minutes ago - 1 answer

George S.

Norton Internet Security offers the same protection from threats, viruses, and other security issues except Norton 360 contains a small component of backup while Internet Security does not. If you do not use the backup component of 360 then Internet Security is a equal comparison.

Does it have an auto-renewal?

David S. asked 3 months, 22 days, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

George S.

When installing the product, you would enter the product key to activate the 15 months. You would not be enrolled in auto-renew unless you register online and manually choose to enroll in auto-renew and associate a payment method.

More Questions and Answers

If I install this on 3 PC"s and then replace a PC with a new one will I be able to transfer over any remaining time from the old PC?

laurel asked 3 months, 21 days, 18 hours, and 24 minutes ago - 1 answer

You can install and run the product on 3 PCs. To install it on a forth, you must uninstall it from one of the first 3. Installations can never exceed 3 systems. The new system will only have the remaining number of subscription days.

Concerning viruses/malware that may ALREADY be present on a computer when the Norton product is installed, one of your Q&A answers says: "Once Norton Internet Security is installed, it will do a scan of your current system and call out any issues present..." If I DO have issues, does this product entitle me to any kind of discount on any other Norton product that I would need to deal with a pre-existing problem that's just been discovered?

Mary T. asked 3 months, 21 days, and 5 minutes ago - 1 answer

George S.

No, however if it is a known virus or issue recognized by the program, the software should be able to handle it. However, it may depend on the severity of the issue.

Yes, that would be possible, but please note that there may be newer versions of the core software released in the future. Any new features or improvements to the core program may not be retroactive to previous versions.

couple questions: 1. I have two laptops, one with Windows XP and one with Windows 8. Will the CD I receive contain versions to support both OS? 2. After 15 months, what will be the renewal price?

Michael C. asked 3 months, 22 days, and 7 minutes ago - 1 answer

George S.

Sorry about a confusing statement in a prior reply. If both of your laptops are Windows operating systems, you would only need one PC version, as it supports, XP, Vista, 7, and 8.
You would need to refer to Norton for the regular renewal cost. This software's list price is $79.99.

George S. answered 3 months, 21 days, 1 hour, and 13 minutes ago

What does it mean that it is good for only 1 user on 3 computers? I have one computer and two people regularly use it. Does this mean I need to purchase two seperate packages?

Marlene M. asked 3 months, 21 days, 21 hours, and 13 minutes ago - 1 answer

George S.

That's not a problem. One installation will cover your computer for multiple local accounts. Users would refer to different customers in this case.
