Hi Kimberly, your question is very technical. You will need to speak to a dentist about caps. Dentists can provide you a personal shade assessment, shade projection, and compare it to the shade of your caps. Because we are a professional brand we always refer consumers to their dentist when there is a special exception. Sorry I can not be of more help.

Hi Joanne, I use pen applications for 15 minutes at a time at which point the formula breaks down on its own (interaction with your saliva). It is optional if you would like to rinse or not based on taste preference.

These whitening pens are safe. However, the ADA recommends to have one's teeth checked by a dentist before undergoing any whitening method.

1) Each pen provides 28 applications. 2) This is a great maintenance tool for keeping your teeth white because it is so portable. This can also be used as a first time whitening treatment based on your whitening needs, but this will not deliver the same level of whitening that only your dentist can deliver because higher levels of hydrogen peroxide require isolation of your gums and lips to prevent burning.
