Hi Eileen! You can only upload images to your photo book. Therefore, you will need to scan your printed photos so that you have digital files of the images.

I currently have a previous UNUSED Shutterfly groupon worth $10 having missed the expiration deadline. As I understand it, my old groupon now simply has a cash value of $10. When I have made these books in the past I tend to go over the 20 page limit and when you include the cost of shipping my 'overages' will likely exceed $10. Can I buy this groupon and use it as shown AND then use my old one to cover overages, treating it same as cash?

Can I buy the coupon and design it after Dec. 4? Or do I need to complete my design by Dec. 4 and have a book ordered by that date? Do I have to design with your fancy templates or can I design something very plain? one photo with one paragraph per page.

Hi Lori! I'm very sorry, but you must redeem this Groupon by December 4, 2012 in order to receive the full promotional value.

Shutterfly has a pretty wide variety of layouts, backgrounds and embellishments, but you are also able to switch to a custom mode where almost any aspect of a page can be changed to fit your vision. If you have created a complete page, including images, in a photo editing application on your computer, you can certainly save that work as an image (.jpg file type only) and upload it to be used in a photo book. You would simply set up a page in your book to be filled corner to corner with a single image, then add that saved Photoshop image.
