Was just wondering if we needed any other type of cables; i.,e., Coaxial or anything that the TV does not come with? We are Comcast customers so we have the HD box for our current TV which is not HD. Thank you!

Victoria K. asked 5 months, 23 days, 11 hours, and 5 minutes ago - 1 answer

George S.

Hi Victoria. That would depend on the output your cable box has. It would likely have an HDMI output, which would be the easiest choice since it is only one cable for both 1080p HD video and audio. It would also be able to handle any broadcasts that have HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). You would just need one HDMI cable to go from your cable box to the TV.

Hi Thomas, that would depend on what type of service you have. It does have a tuner, but many cable providers require a box for receiving certain channels. You would need to consult your cable provider for more information.

Can this monitor/tv be used connected to a computer for gaming? What is "ms" speed for image delay? Thanks.

It can be used for gaming. The manufacturer does not list a response time, but it does have a gaming mode to reduce delay caused by additional image processing. You would need to contact the manufacturer directly for more information.
