It comes with a 90 Day warranty direct through Toshiba. These laptops are certified to new standards by Toshiba, therefore are not used or "old". It comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 and additional Toshiba software.

They are not used. Toshiba refurbished items have been fully tested to new standards in a Toshiba factory. Once certified by a Toshiba technician, they are sold with a 90 Day (versus 1 year) warranty from Toshiba.
