Choose Between Two Options

  • $40 for a two-hour paranormal investigation for two (an $80 value)
  • $10 for a 90-minute ghost tour for two (a $20 value)

During the paranormal investigation, ghost hunters explore the Lincoln building with devices that include K-2 meters, digital recorders and thermometers, an Ovilus X speech synthesizer, and a Ghost Box to measure things such as electromagnetic fields and radio frequencies. Occasionally costumed, lantern-bearing guides lead the ghost tour, embarking from the Community Center Gym in downtown Cedarburg to 10 reportedly haunted locales, each tied to unfortunate events such as the murder of a blacksmith and the influenza epidemic of 1918.

Both options are limited to 10–15 people and take place on weekend evenings throughout October, and possibly in early November depending on weather. Guests are advised to arrive 15 minutes early; click here for the full schedules.

Ghost Tours of Cedarburg

Downtown Cedarburg resembles a charming hamlet, what with its buildings of brick, stone, and cross-timber frames dating back to the mid-19th century. But these picturesque residences, mills, bridges, and other historic structures belie dark happenings that some feel have left specters behind. Cedarburg native Lauren Goecks and fellow guide Allison Glysch unveil these local legends through Ghost Tours of Cedarburg, leading both ghost tours and paranormal investigations throughout the historic downtown area. Cloaked in theatrical costumes and carrying lanterns to light the way, Lauren and Tim guide guests to 10 reportedly haunted locations, each connected to events such as a blacksmith's murder, the 1918 flu outbreak, and a prostitution ring. They also periodically gain access to historic buildings for small-group paranormal investigations with devices such as K-2 meters.
