Choose Between Two Options

  • $35 for two tickets to a Graveyards Bus Tour (a $70 value)
  • $69 for four tickets to a Graveyards Bus Tour (a $140 value)

Guest investigators travel to four different spooky sites, hopping out of the bus to further inspect each location on foot. Some sites are official graveyards, while others are seemingly innocuous locations upon which visitors may have picnicked, played frisbee, or walked a beloved pet. While en route to the next historical resting place, tourists enjoy views of the skyline and the harbor, but never escape the lurking chill of knowing how close their feet are trodding to historic phantoms.

Ghostly Tours in History

Ghostly Tours in History's passionate guides unlock a portal to the paranormal, leading visitors to haunted and eerie sites around San Diego's Old Town district and Gaslamp Quarter. Depending on the tour, stops include grand Victorian mansions, the Whaley House, known graveyards, and even unknown graveyards, below which lie the bodies of restless souls. The company offers walking tours as well as bus and limousine tours for guests tired from giving their assigned ghost a piggyback ride.

In keeping with the historical nature of the tours, each guide dons a period costume and alter ego, ranging from reformed vagabonds to pioneering entrepreneur cowboys. In reality, the cast of guides is equally as diverse, encompassing trained actors, students, a Navy serviceman, and past and present members of the San Diego Historical Society.

The Groupon Guide to: Aches and Pains

The stress of everyday life slowly crushes not only our souls, but also our bodies. Here's a guide to some of the most common pains and how to handle them even when you feel like you really don't have the capacity to handle anything right now:

Pain: Hand cramp
Cause: Wringing your hands over and over without realizing that you're even doing it
Remedy: Rub your hands with a soothing, odiferous balm made from every spice and also probably some ginger.

Pain: Crick in the neck
Cause: Sleeping on a weird pillow or something that is still breathing just a little
Remedy: Pull your neck from side to side, loosening the muscles into thick, guilt-free ropes.

Pain: Sore arms
Cause: Lifting weights or hacking something to pieces so you can hide it
Remedy: Give your arms a break from hacking for a while by maybe doing some digging. You're going to need to do some digging.

Pain: Weird back
Cause: The weight of your secrets bearing down on you
Remedy: Stop sleeping. Stay up all night sweatily watching and waiting for something—anything—to happen.

Will sleeping on something that’s breathing hurt my neck?
