Choose Between Two Options

  • $59 for an ornament glass-blowing class (a $125 value)
  • $14 for one pre-made hand-blown ornament (a $28 value)

In private sessions with master glassblower and Girl Glass owner Shannon Jane Morgan, pupils learn how to apply their choice of colors to molten glass, and can help twist and turn it into a round ornament. Students must return to the studio at a later date to bring home their finished pieces. Pick-up times during December are Friday from 12–6 p.m., Saturday from 12–5p.m., and Sunday from 12–5 p.m.

Girl Glass

Largely self-taught, Shannon Jane Morgan has spent the last 19 years firing up her furnaces and creating delicate, one-of-a-kind works of glass art as the owner and founder of Girl Glass. Her pieces include gracefully curved vases; pigment-dappled paperweights; and whimsical, translucent pumpkins. In private classes, Morgan shares her years of carefully cultivated expertise with students, delving into the nuances of molten glass with tutorials on blowing, shaping, and creating goblets strong enough to survive an operatic high note.
