What You'll Do

During this walking tour, New York–history expert Annaline Dinkelmann delves into the surprising—often lawless—stories behind the Financial District's most historic watering holes. You'll visit such institutions as Delmonico's and Fraunces Tavern—the spot where George Washington bade farewell to his officers with a magnificent turtle feast.

She put that knowledge to good use in 2007 when she started Wall Street Walks, a sightseeing company dedicated to exploring the history of the stock market and the neighborhood that houses it.
