Questions and Answers

I plan on buying two tickets as a gift for a mother and daughter; the mother is in a wheelchair though. Should I purchase two tickets and call the theater to work out the handicap seating?

Holly asked 7 months, 23 hours, and 42 minutes ago - 1 answer

John T.

Holly: Thanks for your question. All of our facilities are wheelchair accessible. When you redeem your vouchers, you will be given the opportunity to provide comments and instructions to our ticketing staff. Tell us everything you think we'll need to know. If you want us to call you, which we're happy to do, tell us that, too. I hope the mother and daughter enjoy the performance! John Toohey ARTS San Antonio

How do I order more than one ticket??? How do I get seats together??

carol s. asked 7 months and 42 minutes ago - 1 answer

John T.

Carol: Thank you for your questions. You are allowed to order up to eight (8) Nutcracker vouchers: four (4) for personal use and four (4) as gifts. How you use gift vouchers is completely up to you. Each voucher is redeemable at our website, www.artssa.org, for one ticket. You may redeem up to eight vouchers for eight tickets. All vouchers redeemed together will be seated together. We will mail the tickets to you at no charge. At Lila Cockrell Theatre, odd-numbered seats are located on the left of the auditorium; even-numbered seats are located on the right, i.e., seats 2, 4, 6, 8 are adjacent. Thank you. Enjoy the performance! John Toohey, ARTS SA

Are there ticket prices for children?

Rachel T. asked 7 months, 4 days, 5 hours, and 31 minutes ago - 1 answer

John T.

Rachel: Thank you for your inquiry. The ticket prices, especially through Groupon, are as low as we can make them. There is no further discount for children. These are the lowest prices available for this production. All persons of any age, including infants, must have a ticket for a reserved seat to be admitted. By the way, the performance is two hours in length and for that reason, it may not be appropriate for very young children. There is no age minimum, however. This is left to the parents' discretion. Again, thank you very much for your interest and patronage. John Toohey ARTS San Antonio

When you purchase do you get to choose a seat or are you just assigned in that specific area?

Pamela N. asked 7 months, 5 days, 2 hours, and 6 minutes ago - 1 answer

John T.

Pamela: for the majority of orders, we use the Ticketmaster best-available algorithm for seat selection. When you redeem your voucher at our website artssa.org, however, you will have the opportunity to provide comments during the checkout procedure. Please use this to give us seating preference instructions. This is especially important if you have mobility or other issues. If you have other questions, feel free to call Blanca Mata in our office at (210) 226-2891. Thank you for your patronage. John Toohey President and Executive Director ARTS San Antonio
