In a Nutshell

High-energy rock and electronic music pulse as performers break dance and contort in front of an urban backdrop

The Fine Print

The circus pushes the human body to its limit, from the impossible poses of the contortionist to the response time of the clowns untangling the contortionist. See an unbelievable feat with this GrouponLive deal to see iD by Cirque Éloize at Hershey Theatre. For $32, you get one G-Pass for balcony seating (up to a $72.65 value, including all fees). Shows begin at 7:30 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. Choose between the following dates:

  • Wednesday, December 19 (canceled)
  • Thursday, December 20

Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call.

Set in front of a futuristic urban landscape, Cirque Éloize’s 14 performers fuse unfathomable cirque performance disciplines with high-energy break-dancing and hip-hop moves. Mind-defying feats of contortion, pole-climbing, and aerial acrobatics combine with the grittiness of the city, which makes itself known through BMX riding, jump-rope routines, and a cabbie demolition derby. Rock and electronic music set a high-energy tempo as the troupe barrels through its 13 disciplines, and the stage’s backdrop and video accompaniments draw inspiration from comics, sci-fi, and graffiti.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.

Hershey Theatre

Hershey Theatre, conceived in 1933 by noted philanthropist and chocolatier Milton S. Hershey, stands as an opulent tribute to the performing arts. Taking architectural cues from Saint Mark’s Basilica in Venice, the foyer’s towering arches gleam with golden paint and crystal chandeliers. The blue-and-gold mosaic that leads to the main seating area is the masterwork of two German artists who spent two years on its construction. Once inside the theater, audiences might think they’ve stepped onto the streets of Venice thanks to the atmospheric ceiling, stonework facades, and gondoliers paddling them to their seats.
