In a Nutshell

Animatronic fire-breathing dragons with 40 ft. wingspans carry actors as they soar above audiences awash in 3-D projections

The Fine Print

Real animals are the inspiration for most mythical creatures, such as the dragon, whose physical form mirrors that of a crocodile and whose mannerisms resemble those of a seventh-grader with a roman candle. The whole family can watch high-flying, fire-breathing dragons come to life with this GrouponLive deal to see How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Reserved seating is in sections 200–215 or 227. Choose from the following options:

  • For $39, you get one G-Pass for a weekend evening show (up to a $66.30 value, including all fees). Choose from the following weekend evening shows:

    • Friday, October 26, at 7 p.m.
    • Saturday, October 27, at 7 p.m.
    • Sunday, October 28, at 5 p.m.

  • For $41, you get one G-Pass for a matinee (up to a $68.85 value, including all fees). Choose between the following matinees:

    • Saturday, October 27, at 11 a.m. or 3 p.m.
    • Sunday, October 28, at 1 p.m.

Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call.

Blown back by the snarls and smoke of fire-breathing dragons, audiences watch in amazement as animatronics, puppetry, pyrotechnics, and martial arts create what Australian Stage called a "visual and technical work of mind boggling proportions." From the creators of Walking with Dinosaurs and inspired by DreamWorks' Academy Award–nominated film How to Train Your Dragon, the live performance pits 23 flying dragons against a cast of Viking warriors who attempt to slay the massive beasts by slashing their spiky tails and stealthily removing their batteries. Three-dimensional projections by Dan Potra catapult audiences into a legendary world of Viking villages, mountains, and dungeons as ethereal music by John Powell and Sigur Rós's Jónsi adds texture to an action-packed plot. Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.

The Groupon Guide to: Cool Scars

Fall is one of the worst times of the year because wearing a jacket, scarf, and long pants will cover up all of your cool scars. Here are some of the coolest scars you can have:

• A face scar that has given you a permanent, perfectly symmetrical flesh goatee
• A scar anywhere on your body that you got from a rich person throwing a wad of money at you
• A mark on your stomach that resembles your favourite food—a roast turkey—which you got from swallowing one whole and having it pressed up against your stomach for a few weeks
• A scar that either looks like a cigarette or was caused by a famous person carelessly holding a cigarette
• Anything caused by a big, fat sword

What's a hairless goatee?
