  • $9 for one ticket for champion-level seating at the game against the Tulsa 66ers on Saturday, February 9, at 7:30 p.m. (up to an $18.17 value, including all fees). In addition, ticket holders are invited to come to Cedar Park Center at 4 p.m., when the Toros and their fans will attempt to break the world record for the largest game of Knockout—a fun, shooting-based elimination game—ever played.

  • $9 for one ticket for champion-level seating at the game against the Maine Red Claws on Wednesday, February 13, at 7:30 p.m. (up to an $18.17 value, including all fees). In addition, ticket holders are invited to come to Cedar Park Center from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. to participate in a pregame shootaround with Toros players. After the game, guests reconvene with players for a meet and greet and an autograph session.

The Scouting Report

Although the NBA's San Antonio Spurs never made it past the 2012 Western Conference finals, the Toros—the Spurs' minor-league affiliate—never stopped charging, bringing the NBA Development League championship home to Austin. With a 13–10 record thus far in the 2012–2013 campaign, the Toros have their sights set on another postseason run, primed by leading scorers Cory Joseph and Justin Dentmon, who returns after claiming the 2011–12 D-League MVP award. As last season's head coach, Brad Jones, moves to a new stint in the NBA, new head coach Taylor Jenkins arrives to inspire his crew by brandishing his power tie between transitions.

Austin Toros

As members of the NBA Development League, the Toros serve as the minor-league affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs, fostering the NBA's future stars from the moment they hatch from their locker-room cocoons. In 2012, the franchise won its first-ever D-League championship, spurred by the home crowd's raucous celebrations, which are led by the Capital City Dance Team and mascot Da Bull. As an extension of their commitment to developing young talent, the Toros also host youth development camps, providing players in grades 4–9 with the opportunity to develop their potential before high-school physics class teaches them that slam dunks are impossible.
