Breaking Up is Hard To Do

It's the end of the summer of 1960, and Lois and Marge need a break from Brooklyn. The two friends pack their bags and head to the Catskills for Labor Day weekend, hoping to find romance, adequate sunblock, and adventure. And like the best adventures, this one is set to a soundtrack of Neil Sedaka hits. As audiences watch the charming musical Breaking Up is Hard to Do, they can hum along to tunes including "Calendar Girl," "Where the Boys Are," "Sweet Sixteen," and the classic title song.

Cameo Theatre

An Egyptian art-deco style anchors the Cameo Theatre, luring wandering eyes with polychrome accents, gilt columns, and a sphinx that permits entry only after guests solve a riddle. A surviving artifact of the 1940s, the theater first opened as a home for vaudeville acts and movies but has since filled its stage with a diverse roster of legendary performers from B.B. King to Metallica, and it now regularly hosts theatrical productions.
