The Scouting Report

From April 14 to April 23, the Brewers couldn't lose. They reeled off nine straight victories, including back-to-back sweeps over the defending-champion Giants and division-rival Cubs. Now, as the April pages are torn from all the clubhouse calendars, the team looks to ride that momentum into the second month of the season. Through 23 games, the Brewer offense has flashed a penchant for power. It checks in with 24 homeruns, 16 of which have come at home—the second-best total in the National League.
