The Fine Print

Winston Churchill was famous for the high standards he applied to alcohol, quipping, "Liquor is quicker, but get me a single-malt scotch with moon rocks in it! I'm the English president!" Be like ol' Winnie with this GrouponLive deal: for $16, you get two general-admission tickets to Bye Bye Liver: The St. Louis Drinking Play at Maggie O'Briens (a $32 value). Performed by a wily band of funnypeople, Bye Bye Liver: The St. Louis Drinking Play is an interactive sketch-comedy show that celebrates the consumption of adult beverages. Each performance flows through a series of vignettes parodying the intoxicating world of drinking and male-female relations. From the infamous women's restroom to that friend who should never drink, the familiar perils of barhopping are broken down by the Bye Bye Liver players. Interactive games played during the show, including Never Have I Ever and Would You Rather, sledgehammer the fourth wall, fusing the estranged cast and audience into a chummy bunch of suds-soaked pals. All shows are for those 21 and older, in accordance with the U.S. Declaration of Independence.

The Groupon Guide to: Made-for-TV Movies

Any aspiring actress, singer, or model/comedienne/favourite daughter can kick her career into high gear by starring in a sad yet thrilling made-for-TV motion picture. If you’re looking for your vehicle to stardom, try taking the lead in one of these prime-time-ready plots:

Sin to the Looking Glass: A woman wakes up to find her fraternal twin sister cooking breakfast for her and her husband. She can’t tell if this is weird or nice until she remembers that her husband can’t tell her and her twin apart. It’s too late because her husband has already woken up in a fun mood and had fun with the twin. The woman knows what she has to do.

Really Going Bump in the Night: A woman goes to bed, only to hear the sound of her husband moving around. Thinking that he’s being abducted, she swings a lamp at his abductor. She hears two bodies fall to the ground and realizes he was actually just cheating on her. She knows what she has done.

Holding Court: A woman is walking around the mall living a normal life when she runs into her son’s sexy but lonely basketball coach at the food court. In a fit of passion, she cheats on her husband with the coach right then and there. She immediately regrets having committed this very personal act in a public place. She knows what she must do to all the witnesses.

Is a mall food court a good place to have an affair?
