Chien Dao Chien Dao
Architect, Studio Owner

Chien Dao's fondness for architecture began at an early age. As a child, he designed his own furniture and quickly fell in love with the art form after reading about Frank Lloyd Wright. This passion carried on through adulthood, and when he moved to New York City more than a decade ago, Chien became enthralled with its structural transformations throughout the years, the historic events that played out in its streets, especially on the Bowery, and the legacies of its prominent architects. Today, he owns his own architecture firm, Chien Dao Studio, and continues to study the city's rich legacy.
