Donkey Punch

Two best friends entangle themselves as they expand their romantic horizons in this sexually adventurous stage play from Micheline Auger. Carnal tornado Kareena sets up her more prudish friend Sam with Kyle, a guy she met online who makes his living directing movies he calls “horror porn.” Meanwhile, Kareena herself is trying out something new—a monogamous relationship with the kind, thoughtful Teddy. As Sam discovers an unknown side of her sexuality, Kareena bites her nails in fear of being caught in a diamond-engagement net.

Time Out praised all four leads’ performances, singling out Cleo Gray’s Kareena as “achingly raw” and Jon McCormick’s Kyle as “equally sexy and sleazy,” and director Audrey Alford’s Like Poetry at last year’s Fringe Festival earned the acclaim of the New York Times.
