As the founder and artistic director of Expressions of You, Yolanda Lariece Sandifer-Horton uses her more than 20 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, and educator to express her unyielding spiritual devotion. She leads her troupe through emotive praise-dance routines, which broadcast the Good News through movement and music. Dancers aged 5–23 twirl in prayer dresses and elegant gowns as they take on striking formations, moving to the sounds of traditional spirituals and more modern pieces.
