In a Nutshell

Matches between Thornhill's Milos Raonic and superstar Andy Roddick and a Wimbledon rematch between Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska

The Fine Print

Watching an athlete succeed is supremely satisfying, though curiously, so is watching a dam fail. Feel the rush with this GrouponLive deal to The Sport Chek Face-Off at Air Canada Centre on Friday, November 16, at 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. Choose between the following seating options:

  • For $25, you get one G-Pass for seating in the rear of section 105, 106, 110, 111, 116, 117, 121, or 122 (up to a $49 value, including all fees).
  • For $40, you get one G-Pass for seating in the front of the above sections (up to a $79 value, including all fees).

Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call.

The Face-Off entertains audiences with an exhibition match between Milos Raonic—a Montenegro native turned Canadian transplant—and former world No. 1 Andy Roddick. Still at the start of his career, the 21-year-old Raonic is already Canada's highest ATP-ranked male singles player ever with a current ranking of World No. 13. The athletic wunderkind faces off against veteran Roddick, who recently retired to spend the rest of his days knitting tennis balls out of milkweed. The evening also features a rematch of 2012's women's Wimbledon final, when young Agnieszka Radwanska managed to wrest a set from Serena Williams during the latter's cruise to victory.

In the celebrity mixed doubles match, stars from a variety of mediums square off for intense bouts of volleying. Adrian Grenier, most recognizable as Vincent Chase from HBO's Entourage, enters the court alongside beloved TV and radio personality George Stroumboulopoulos and The Bachelor Canada suitor Brad Smith, who distracts each of his opponents by giving them a rose.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.
