Peter Frampton

If it were possible to marry a guitar, Peter Frampton would be approaching the golden anniversary with his betrothed six-string. Like the Babe Ruth of the Gibson Les Paul, Frampton has been pointing his pick at the sky and knocking solos out of the park since 1966. Having started playing before he was 8 years old, the British virtuoso developed an impeccable technique that other musicians would give their eyeteeth for. His guitar doesn’t just talk, it filibusters, and millions of ears have fallen under its sway since 1978’s Frampton Comes Alive! made the live-double-album format popular and gave the world hits such as “Baby, I Love Your Way,” “Show Me The Way,” and “Do You Feel Like We Do.” Since then, the Grammy-winning guru has never stopped writing, recording, touring, and inspiring the next generation of ax-wielders. For his summer tour, dubbed FRAMPTON’S GUITAR CIRCUS, Peter celebrates his romance with music making in a set of classic hits and ingenious jams alongside fellow guitar legends. Every show on the tour is being taped for a later digital release, and Peter randomly gives an autographed setlist to one lucky fan at every stop.
”Show Me The Way” (Live 2011)

####Robert Cray As a five-time Grammy winner and member of the Blues Hall of Fame, [Robert Cray](http://gr.pn/Lucbwf) has proven himself both as a solo act and opener for legends such as Eric Clapton. With support from his [band](http://robertcray.com/band/), Cray pours out tunes that bridge blues and rock influences. Commenting on his eclectic style, Cray says, “When I first started playing guitar, I wanted to be George Harrison—that is, until I heard Jimi Hendrix. After that, I wanted to be Albert Collins and Buddy Guy and B.B. King." Clutching his Stratocaster tightly and turning its strings into molten lead, he wails through stories of broken relationships in the funky, synth-heavy “I Guess I Showed Her,” recounts his regrets in “Right Next Door,” and dives into extended, high-register solos during “Smoking Gun.”
