Hard-rock music pumps people up with immense guitar riffs, thunderous drumming, and lyrics about punching whales in their mouths. Get amped with this GrouponLive deal to the Fort Rock festival at JetBlue Park. For $61, you get one G-Pass for VIP admission on Sunday, April 14, at noon (up to a $102.55 value, including all fees). The VIP ticket includes VIP entrance to the venue; access to the VIP lounge with beverage and food service; premium viewing of the main stage in both seating and standing areas; and access to private restrooms. At the recently christened JetBlue Park, where the Boston Red Sox go for spring training and to escape March storms of baked beans, Fort Rock emerges as the largest rock festival to hit Southwest Florida. The fest is the brainchild of the production gurus from 99X, Danny Wimmer Presents, and AEG Live, fortifying fans of hard rock, punk, and heavy metal with a lineup of multiplatinum-selling, fist-pumping giants sprawled across the Main Stage and the Jägermeister Second Stage.

The Lineup

The Offspring: California skate punkers best known for hits such as “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem,” and “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)”
3 Doors Down: Multiplatinum postgrunge rockers behind “Loser” and “Kryptonite”
Stone Sour: Grammy-nominated alternative-metal band featuring members of Slipknot
Papa Roach: Grammy-nominated nü-metal superstars known for “Scars” and “Last Resort”
Volbeat: Multiplatinum Danish band blends metal, punk, and rockabilly in set featuring tracks from their latest, Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies
In This Moment: Female-led California alternative-metal band seen at Ozzfest and the Uproar Festival
Escape the Fate: Million-selling posthardcore band from Las Vegas with emo leanings
Device: New industrial-metal side project from Disturbed frontman David Draiman
Pop Evil: Melodic postgrunge Michigan outfit behind the hit “Boss’s Daughter”
Otherwise: Las Vegas alternative rockers responsible for the grassroots smash hit “Soldiers”
Mindset Evolution: Midwestern hard-rock five piece featured on the Vans Warped Tour

The Groupon Guide to: Britcoms

Everybody knows that British sitcoms, AKA britcoms, AKA sitishes, are better and more artistic than American sitcoms, AKA USATVcoms—especially these, the world’s best britcoms:

The Hemleys of Northumberland: Even though couthness is held above all in England, this working-class family is not couth—uncouth even! The father is gruff from working in a northern smog factory, and every week he somehow manages to ruin the mother’s dinner party with the posh vicar!

Oh, Really Now!: What do a grimy, working-class department-store manager, a posh vicarwife, and a boffin fresh out of Eton who needs a job have in common? They are also bank robbingtons (British for “robbers”). Tune in to Dave. (They really have a channel called this. Google it.)

The Frasiering Hour: Frasier Crane is a popular radio psychiatrist, dispensing his wit and wisdom to the masses. He lives in Seattle with his retired bobby father, Martin, and his housekeeper, Daphne Moon. With Frasier’s brother, Niles, Eddie the dog, outrageous situations, and plenty of humor in each episode, this a worthy successor to Beers Ahoy (the show on which Cheers is based).

What are some of the greatest britcoms? Find out in today’s Groupon Guide.
