Jack FM's Throwback Tribute Spectacular treats fans to the dulcet notes of 15 cover bands playing on a stage of time-traveling musicality. The event launches into the realm of classic tunes with a boost by Who’s Bad, an octet of Jacksonites whose vocal, instrumental, and dance skills channel the King of Pop’s entire oeuvre. Depeche Mode tributeers Strangelove keep heads bobbing, buttressing each song with 60–100 hours of backtrack recordings to faithfully recreate the sonics of their inspiration. Then the Red Not Chili Peppers bring a bit of California to Texas, with mohawked Remy Fischer as Kiedis and Jonny Savage playing the role of Flea.
