In a Nutshell

In the last regular-season home game, the Storm jockey for playoff seeding against the Erie Otters at the 4,500-seat Sleeman Centre

The Fine Print

Hockey combines the speed of basketball, the hard hits of football, and the glistening blades of competitive shaving. Study frozen fusion with this GrouponLive deal to see the Guelph Storm take the ice at the Sleeman Centre.

$45 for Four Tickets (Up to $90 Value)

On Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m., the Storm take on the Erie Otters. Groupon customers receive the best-available regular 100-level seating at the time of redemption. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The Scouting Report

In the final home game of the 2012–13 regular season, the Guelph Storm face off against the Erie Otters with a chance to coast into the postseason with a win tucked under their pads. Through 61 games, the Storm have already secured a playoff berth and are slated at fifth in the Western Conference standings, but they can still improve their seeding with a strong finish, as the three teams immediately ahead of them in the standings—the Kitchener Rangers, Owen Sound Attack, and Plymouth Whalers—are all well within striking distance. With 57 points apiece on the season, centre Tanner Richard and right-winger Scott Kosmachuk have paced the Storm offense, the former setting the table with 49 assists and the latter shredding nets with 31 goals and a puck he made out of a cheese grater.

Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.

Guelph Storm

Since first making landfall on the ice in 1991, the Guelph Storm have made four appearances in the Memorial Cup, the round-robin tournament for the most sought-after trophy in the Junior A-level Ontario Hockey League. During home games, the team takes shelter in the Sleeman Centre, a 4,500-seat arena that features such amenities as a full-service restaurant.
